REFINE YOUR RIDING SKILLS OVER THE HOLIDAY BREAK

Join our qualified coaches to improve your riding skills and learn about:

  • The fundamentals of horse riding
  • Riding techniques 
  • Safety training
  • Horsemanship
  • How to work cattle on horseback

PROGRAMS
School holiday riding sessions

$121 (1 hour)
Minimum age for attendees is 5 years +

Mounted group riding at the McIntyre Centre, perfect for everyone from beginners to advanced riders.

Practical Horsemanship Program

$360 (4 hours)
Minimum age for attendees is 15 years +

Learn about handling your horse from the ground and develop a lasting connection.

Cattle herding on horseback

$360 (8 hours including travel)
Minimum age for attendees is 12 years +

An excursion to Kilcoy Cow Horse Club, located halfway between Kilcoy and Woodford. Learn how to control and position your horse and the basics of cattle herding. (limited places available)

WHO CAN ATTEND

McIntyre Centre is best known for providing equine-assisted activities and therapies to support people with disability however, this school holidays we are opening our doors to all aspiring riders!

* People with disability may also be eligible for our other NDIS funded programs (School Holiday Riding Sessions not included). Learn more here.
