thinking about moving out of home?
HELP’s Supported Independent Living (SIL) service offers unique, flexible, and tailored packages to help you live more independently.
We take the stress out of moving and connect you with the right support so you can thrive in the home and community you love.
WHAT IS Supported independent living (SIL)?
HELP's Supported Independent Living service is designed to empower you, and help you get the most out of life.
With a helping hand from our team you can:
- master daily living tasks like cooking, cleaning, personal care, and taking medication,
- create new friendships, and
- build healthy habits to take care of your physical and mental wellbeing.
Our experienced network of support workers stay with you in your home or drop in at scheduled times to provide any support you might need, day or night.
If you're ready to live with housemates, or need some extra support to move out of your family home, SIL can give you the confidence you need to take the next step - just like Nikki! Nikki was nervous about moving out at first, but thanks to the support of the SIL team, her new digs are feeling more and more like home every day.
